Khyiana Tate is a recent grad of the Detroit School of Arts. She recently published her first book, Signing with Khy. Inspired by the lack of Black and Brown representation in ASL books, Khyiana published her own! Khyiana’s goal is to raise awareness in the hearing community about Deafness so everyone can communicate. Future plans include publishing books on numbers, colors, and her life story. Khyiana’s future is wide open. AADHH is so proud of Khyiana. She is a shining example of excellence and determination - letting nothing get in the way of accomplishing her goals.
